Moscow, Russia Joom

Bright, open offices, relaxation zones with reclining areas, hobby rooms and even a music room - what sounds like a dream of employees is located in the middle of Moscow, in the new headquarters of the shopping platform Joom.

The basic idea of the new office concept was to adapt the rooms to the dynamic and informal working atmosphere as well as the self-determined working hours of the approximately 200 employees of the shopping platform. The Russian architectural studio V12, which was entrusted with the design, therefore decided on an open layout for the premises - supplemented by extravagant design elements. For example, the rooms are lined with structures reminiscent of a city silhouette. Open partition walls are based on the shape of rows of houses.

Lighting is also an important element when designing these office rooms. For example, the computer workstations were equipped with the Basic series from Lightnet. The round luminaire head optically matches the sound absorbers, which are suspended above the workplaces. In addition, spotlights from the Midpoint series - in straight and curved aluminium profiles - are located in prominent positions in the room. In the reception area, for example, the spotlights illuminate suspended clouds formed from nets, which supports the airy character of the rooms.
