Through innovative approaches and creative solutions, we continuously develop our products and production processes. The following specific measures show where we are taking action.

We manufacture all of our products ourselves, without exception, and have a comprehensive in-house production depth that enables us to manufacture almost all components for our luminaires in our factories in Europe.

100% in-house production

The entire LED board production process is carried out in-house using our specially developed water treatment system, which recovers the valuable resources used in the production of the raw PCBs in a closed circulation system.

100% water-purified LED circuit board production

We obtain 100% of the electrical energy we need for our luminaire production from renewable sources.

100% natural electricity

Thanks to a complex, software-based system, we only ever produce as much as is actually needed.

100% intelligent on-demand production

With a CO2 footprint of <4 kg per kg of aluminium - worldwide average: 16.7 kg.

For our sound absorbers, we use natural wool from sustainable sources, which, unlike plastic foam, is 100% biodegradable.

Natural materials

Our steel sheets (up to 1.5 mm thick) are manufactured using a high proportion of scrap and 100 per cent renewable electricity.

We produce our packaging 100% plastic-free and on demand.

Pulp-based packaging

All our luminaires can be equipped with HCL technology for the right light at the right time.

The components of our luminaires are interchangeable and can be recycled at the end of their service life.

Our luminaires have a high efficiency of at least 120 lm/w.

The diffusers for the indirect component of our luminaires are made of PMMA, which can be recycled an infinite number of times.

For our polycarbonate opal diffusers, we use polycarbonate that is made from 59% pine oil, a waste product of the timber industry, and is certified according to the ISCC mass balancing principle.

We pay attention to short transport distances from our material suppliers to us, for example, one of our aluminium suppliers is only 4.3 km away from our plant.
