The Clinic for Manual Therapy in Hamm is one of the leading facilities for conservative orthopaedic rehabilitation in Germany. In line with its guiding principle of ‘healing through touch’, the clinic focuses on targeted manual treatment, complemented by modern physiotherapy, medical training and psychosomatic care.
The new clinic building follows a clear architectural concept. Light-coloured materials, calm lines and a restrained lighting concept characterise the atmosphere. Each area has been carefully designed to be both functional and pleasant.
Lighting in healthcare facilities fulfils far more than just functional requirements. It must provide safety and orientation while contributing to well-being and relaxation. Daylight-like colour rendering, glare-free light and zoned lighting solutions promote a healing environment – for patients and nursing staff alike.
The lighting concept for the clinic was developed by our partner Scharkon. The selection and placement of the luminaires was individually tailored to the respective room areas, with a focus on clear light guidance and high-quality design.
In the entrance area and training zones, the Ringo Star pendant luminaire sets bold accents. Its ring-shaped silhouette and soft light distribution contribute to an open, calm room atmosphere.
In the patient rooms, the Basic A3 surface-mounted luminaire creates a friendly, balanced lighting atmosphere with a homely character. Its calm, self-assured shape ensures a pleasantly unobtrusive effect in the room. It is complemented by the Lucille T1 table luminaire, whose filigree design and clear presence stylishly round off the design.
