Restrained in expression, precise in effect Liquid Line shapes the light along the architectural line

Louisiana State University (LSU) is one of the leading public universities in the United States, headquartered in Baton Rouge. Its American football team not only stands for athletic excellence, but is also the university's flagship, having won several national titles. With the newly built Recovery Centre, LSU now has one of the most modern sports facilities in the country. The facility is designed to enhance the well-being and performance of the players. LSU head coach Brian Kelly emphasises: ‘The Recovery Centre is an integral part of the LSU Operations Centre – it was the missing element.’ The interior design draws on the American football culture that is deeply rooted at LSU. The university colours, purple and gold, and a clean, athletic design are visible in every detail.

Our local partner, Gensler, translated the design character into the lighting plan. Our Liquid Line recessed luminaire provides systematic illumination and strategic wayfinding. The highly flexible system was precisely adapted to the curves of the suspended ceiling and reflects the design of the floor.

We are delighted to be part of the Recovery Centre, which supports LSU athletes in their pursuit of excellence on and off the field.
