Halo Enterprise and Innovation Centre Kilmarnock, Scotland

Creating sustainable opportunities is the goal of the HALO Urban Regeneration Company in Kilmarnock, Scotland. This agenda not only relates to the construction of carbon neutral, energy efficient buildings, but also to lasting economic and social benefits for the local community. On the site of the former Johnnie Walker manufacturing plant, the Halo Enterprise and Innovation Centre (HEIC) has been created to stimulate digital learning, inspire innovative thinking and provide a conducive environment for spin-out, new-start, scale-ups, digital, manufacturing and cyber businesses of all sizes.

Linear pendant luminaires from the Matric series welcome visitors there. The graphic lines create a light object in an extravagant design. As functional large-area lighting, Matric R4 is the architectural teaser of the overall concept and a visual anchor.
